Thanks for stopping by to take a look at our very cool 1974 MGB Mark III Roadster.  If you’re looking for a sporting car that has been sorted and is ready to drive and enjoy this may be your car.  This  looks and feels like a new car.  Gorgeous inside and out, pride of ownership is noted everywhere.

This MGB is the final chrome bumper model before the nasty black bumper and detuned smog control era. Updated and kept in top condition; both prior owners kept a binder of receipts and compiled lists of upgrades and maintenance.  This is NOT your typical worn and rusty MGB.  This car has been loved and is a wonderful driver’s turn key car.  The next step up would be a concours vehicle.

Rarity

MGB’s were very popular in the 60’s but like most everything from that era, they were considered disposable. Some survived in better condition than others. A few, like this southern California car have had extensive care.

Exterior

Beautiful Old English white. Brightwork and chrome are in very nice condition.  Fitted desirable Parrish hardtop. New rear window.  Respray 12/2020.  Glass is all good. No soft top. Vent cover.  Solid and original underneath with no visible rust or damage.  Much new rubber.

Wheels, Tires

Newl steel wheels with radial tires fitted in 2021.  Nice trim rings. Spare wheel is excellent. Spare tire is aged out. Rebuilt shocks. Many new suspension items, steering bushings and parts. See the list

Engine

Awesome running with dual SU carbs as standard.  Carbs were rebuilt about 5000 miles ago.

Aluminum radiator. Engine rebuilt by PO.  Lovely detail.  Auxiliary oil cooler.

Transmission

4 speed full synchro Manual transmission. Shifts through the gears nicely. New u-joints. Recent clutch kit.

Trim

Very Nice. Presents extremely well for a daily driver.

Interior

Very close to new. Perfectly kept. Carpet and floor mats look great.  Beautiful dash. Gauges.  Carpeted boot. Soft to the touch upholstery with no damage. Chromed door sill plates.

Underneath

• California solid floors, frame,  jack points, battery box. Rust prone wheel wells are clean and solid.  Fresh front suspension including A Arms, bushings and springs. See photos

• Title. The California title is clean and current. Current California tags.  Smog exempt in California. Export ready.
