Thanks for stopping by to take a look at one very cool 1972 Chevrolet El Camino.

History we know:

Per the VIN, she’s a California born deluxe model hailing from beautiful Van Nuys.

She was purchased as a solid bones driving project years ago. Those plans never fully materialized but this former daily driver was garage stored and occasionally driven. The tags were always kept current and the maintenance was attended to but the full strip down and resto never occurred.

The paint looks to be a matte white with gloss black stripes. Older minor bodywork can be observed up close. The wheels are period correct American Racing chrome with good tires.

Rust is a well documented problem with El Caminos but not with California cars. We can see small bits here and there but nothing that would cause alarm.

We don’t know much else about the car as we are selling on behalf of the estate. Happy to try and answer your questions.
